2009-10 Payment 2009-10 On July 15, 2009, the Governor and state legislators reached an agreement regarding the fiscal year 2010 (FY2010) state budget, which determines funding levels for 2009-10 programs that are administered by ISAC. Based on that budget, ISAC awarded timely renewal NESP applicants for the full year. Per current state legislation, 2009-10 is the last academic year in which funding for this program is to be appropriated Absent new legislation, ISAC will not provide a 2010-11 NESP application. The 2009-10 NESP Eligibility Certification/Payment Request rosters, listing qualified applicants who were awarded, were electronically sent to colleges with instructions for completing the roster on September 2, 2009. Completed rosters can be returned to ISAC (as indicated in the NESP Payment Request roster cover letter) on or before October 30, 2009. If rosters are returned electronically, the password protection should be retained. By returning the roster the college is certifying that the student for whom funds were requested meet all the eligibility requirements of the program. Refer to NESP Payment Procedures within this section for more information about the NESP payment process and instructions for how to complete the payment roster. A Notification of Eligibility was sent to qualified timely renewal applicants for the 2009-10 Nurse Educator Scholarship Program (NESP) on August 20, 2009. Refer to the Award Determination page within this section, for information about the selection criteria and to access a sample of the notification types. ISAC is no longer accepting applications for the 2009-10 Nurse Educator Scholarship Program (NESP).
