2010-11 State Scholar Finalists Mailing Labels 2010-11 The last day to appeal a student's status as a 2010-11 State Scholar Finalist was January 29, 2010. Orders for a set of mailing labels of State Scholar Finalists can now be submitted and must be received at ISAC on or before March 31, 2010. As a reminder, an online listing of 2010-11 State Scholars displaying each State Scholar alphabetically by high school, within the school's Illinois county can be obtained at College Zone. The online listing replaces the paper roster that was available to order in previous years. The Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) announced the 2010-11 State Scholars on November 24, 2009. A congratulatory letter was sent directly to each high school senior who is designated as a State Scholar for the 2010-11 academic year. An online listing of 2010-11 State Scholars displays each State Scholar alphabetically by high school, within the school's Illinois county. A Certificate of Achievement was mailed to the high school for their State Scholars to be distributed according to each school's preference. The Non-Finalist Rosters mailed in previous years, were not included with the Certificates of Achievement mailing. Schools will need to determine non-finalists based on the sixth-semester roster data they submitted to ISAC. If a high school counselor feels that a student should have been designated as a State Scholar and was not, a letter of appeal from the student must be submitted to ISAC on or before Friday, January 29, 2010.
