On July 15, 2009, the Governor and state legislators reached an agreement regarding the fiscal year 2010 (FY2010) state budget, which determines funding levels for 2009-10 programs that are administered by ISAC. Based on that budget, the Grant Program for Dependents of Police or Fire Officers received funding at a level that is anticipated to award eligible applicants for the full year.

Payment

The 2009-10 fall term Certification of Enrollment for Payment rosters were mailed to colleges on October 19, 2009 and are due back to ISAC on or before November 20th. A sample roster and cover letter with instructions on how to complete the roster, can be accessed from the PFC Payment Procedures page within this section.

Application

The 2009-10 Grant Program for Dependents of Police, Fire, or Correctional Officers Application is available to print from College Zone. In order to receive full-year consideration an application must be received on or before October 1 of the academic year for which grant assistance is requested. For spring- and summer- term consideration, the deadline date is March 1. For summer-term consideration only, applications must be received on or before June 15.  Applications received by ISAC after these deadline dates will be processed only for subsequent terms, with June 15 as the final date of acceptance for the summer term.
