The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has announced the average bond equivalent rates for 91-day Treasury Bills during the quarter ending September 30, 2008, as 1.63%; the average of the bond equivalent rates for the quotes of the 3-month commercial paper (financial) rates in effect for each of the days in the same quarter was 2.87%.
