 To learn about the financial aid process from the convenience of your computer, check out the narrated Microsoft® PowerPoint® presentation entitled "The Financial Aid Process: Paying for College 2008-09," which can be accessed via the Student Quick Links menu of the Student Zone front page.

If you currently have or will have a son or daughter in college, you should know about a recently-updated publication from the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA) - Cash for College - which answers questions regarding how to obtain the resources that are available to help finance an education.

If your son or daughter is a student who plans to attend college during the 2009-10 academic year, now is the time to search for scholarships to help fund their education. As you search, beware of financial aid "scams."

Now is a good time for high school seniors planning to start college in the fall of 2009, and their parents, to apply for a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to be used in January when completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
