2010-11
MAP Recompute
Verification of system changes related to the recompute process have been completed and the 2010-11 MAPnet system is now available. All 2010-11 Institutional Student Information Record (ISIR) data received from the Central Processing System (CPS) through (including) Tuesday, July 6 is reflected in MAPnet, and daily processing of ISIR data has resumed
Based on the anticipated FY2011 state budget, the 2010-11 Silas Purnell Illinois Incentive for Access (IIA) Program will not be funded. Consequently, IIA data will not appear in the 2010-11 MAPnet system.
The 2010-11 MAP Formula section, located within the MAP pages of the ISAC Gift Assistance Programs area, has been updated to reflect the recompute process. Refer to the June 21 e-Message for a summary of all the actions taken at the June 18th Commission meeting. Specific details about the FY2011 MAP Recompute Formula are also available within June 18, 2010 Agenda Book (Item 8)
Suspension of 2010-11 Award Announcements
ISAC suspended the announcement of 2009-10 MAP grants for all students whose initial 2009-10 FAFSA is received by the Central Processing System (CPS) on or after April 19, 2009. Refer to the Suspension of Award Announcements page within this section, for information on notifying affected applicants and how to identify records in a suspension status in MAPnet and on the Eligibility Status File (ESF).

Returning Amounts Owed for 2009-10 MAP and IIA
The second round of letters detailing the outstanding amount that must be refunded to ISAC for 2009-10 MAP were mailed to financial aid directors on July 7, 2010. The outstanding amount due, with proper documentation, should be returned to ISAC on or before August 6, 2010.
Be sure to use the current version of the Gift Assistance Programs Check Return Form, which includes a field to specify the term(s) for which funds are being returned and is dated "4/06" in the footer. This document may be accessed within the Refunds and Unpaid Claims portion of the FAA Zone's Processes area. Due to the offset process, do not send refund checks to ISAC without providing the appropriate adjustment data via MAPnet.
Details regarding the use of MAPnet are available at the MAPnet Processing and User Guide area, which is located within under MAPnet in the FAA Zone Processes area.
