My Zone is the portal through which online interactions for the purposes of data inquiries, eligibility announcements and payment requests for ISAC-administered programs will be conducted. Due to the confidential nature of the student-specific data involved, a secure authentication process is required before access can be granted.
Assigning an Administrator
This page will provide the steps to follow for easy access to My Zone. ISAC will rely on a contact person, or Administrator, at each institution to authorize users. The My Zone Administrator will ultimately be responsible for monitoring passwords, staff access, and security for a variety of ISAC programs. The request for institutional access should come from the Financial Aid Director.
My Zone Log On
This page will allow New Administrator to Sign Up or existing users to Log On. Assigning an Administrator provides easy-to-follow steps for obtaining the appropriate code and log on.
My Zone Programs
The programs available as part of My Zone are:
- Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP)
The Notification of Student Borrower DAAR Status report is available twice a month to those institutions with students for whom ISAC received a Default Aversion Assistance Request (DAAR) during the reporting time period.
- Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant Program
An ING Grant Announcement Roster is available any time there is new or updated student eligibility information for your school.
- Illinois Veteran Grant (IVG) Program
IVG eligibility data is available whenever new or updated applications or payment claims are processed. IVG payment claims can be submitted online or via File Transfer Protocal (FTP).
- Teacher Education Scholarship Programs (TESP)
[Illinois Future Teacher Corps (IFTC) Program and Minority Teachers of Illinois (MTI) Scholarship]
IFTC and MTI Initial Certifications can be completed and viewed online and TESP Notification information, including funded or unavailable funds status, for eligible applicants is available within My Zone.
The same User Name and Password can be used for all programs to which a user has been granted access by the My Zone Administrator designated at each school. As additional ISAC programs are added to My Zone, the administrator needs to go to My Zone User Maintenance and update the program access and level for each user.
