This section provides access to a variety of presentations, including PowerPoints, talking points and handouts from ISAC training events, and ready-to-use PowerPoints and talking points for financial aid and early awareness events.
Because large PowerPoint files can take a long time to launch or download via the Internet, we have made these materials available using three different options:
View Slides -- allows you to launch the slideshow quickly and easily without a lengthy wait or having to download any files. You can progress through the slideshow by clicking on the navigational buttons at the bottom of the screen. Hint: to see as much of the screen as possible, be sure to maximize the slideshow screen, and then go to"Full Screen" view using your F11 key or the View pull-down menu (select the "Full Screen" option).
Talking Points -- this option provides you with an html document that contains the talking points for each slide. This file can be viewed, printed or downloaded (saved) to your computer. Hint: print the talking points and review them as you progress through the View Slides slideshow online.
Downloadable -- this option provides you with access to the actual PowerPoint (PPT) file which can be viewed, printed or downloaded. If you launch the PPT from the pop-screen that appears, the file will launch in PowerPoint Viewer. If you right click on the link in the pop-up box, you'll have the ability to open the file or save it to your computer. Depending upon the size of the presentations, launching or downloading through this option can take a few minutes. The benefit to this option is that you can view the presentation offline using the PowerPoint software, which also allows you to view the slides and the talking points at the same time (using the View pull-down menu).
Windows Media Player -- this option provides you with the ability to run a media file that includes sound from your desktop. Be sure your speakers are turned on and that you are viewing the Media Player in full screen; you may do this by clicking on the small white arrow (the"Undock Player" button) that typically appears above the volume control in the lower right corner of the Media Player screen. If your computer does not have the most current version of Windows Media Player, click here for a free download from Microsoft or contact your computer administrator for more information.
